Camping

I am pretty sure these kids had a great time camping at Lake Elmo Park Preserve, even if we didn't go swimming. The pool had some issues with cryptosporidium and we decided not to risk it.

There were s'mores, campfires, water fights, fishing and book reading going on.

Malak was there for some of the trip too but missed the one picture I took while we were there.

One of my favorite parts was my run through the park. It was beautiful and quiet and new.

We were disappointed to be packing up in the rain but it was still a successful camping trip!

I went to the Twins game with Ron, Cari and her friend Amy.  Met up with Joann Eichten at the Twins game for a photo! Gary threw out the first pitch of the game.

Warriors!!!

Ron and friends did the warrior dash again this year. A 5k run with crazy obstacles along the way. Running through mud and over fire... What a crazy time!

Friday night

On Friday nights in north st.paul there is a great old car show that we go to a couple of times during the summer. It's great to cruise the street with my corn dog and people watch. The kids love the face painting, balloon animals and ice cream that can be found there. Last weekend we were joined by grandma jan and uncle mike.

Addie:

Is learning to buckle her car seat

Still wears pull-ups at night
Doesn't get down from her bed when she wakes
Knows her name starts with A
Still doesn't like barrettes in her hair
Brushes her own teeth
Picks out her clothes
