A reunion of sorts...

Katie and Jesse brought their adorable son Liam in for a visit this weekend. We were lucky to have them and enjoyed our time. We packed a lot in. On Saturday Joanna was able to come by with her kids for a playdate and lunch. It was crazy with five kids and four adults, but we managed. We also got in a stop by my dads, a trip to The Children's Museum, dinner with Mom and Bill and a bonfire. Whew!

Jackson keeps talking about our house being five whole hours away from Katie, Jesse and Liam's house!

It was a great time and we are now looking forward to our visit their way later this summer.

A South Dakota visit...

Our great friends came from South Dakota for a visit over the weekend. It was so nice to welcome our friends and have them stay the night with us. It was a busy household and the quarters were a bit small for all but we really enjoyed the company. We had loads to catch up on and enjoy each others' kids. Here is Jackson welcoming Liam to our home:

And another thing...

We also learned on vacation that Jackson is going to be a great big brother, at least until the novelty wears off. We visited Katie and Jesse and baby Liam on our way back out of South Dakota and had such a nice time. Jackson helped me to feed baby Liam and even patted him on the back when it was time to burp. He sang him songs, a couple loud rounds of the Alphabet Song and Twinkle Twinkle. He even took his turn at holding Liam and did a pretty darn good job at it. I hope he will be as helpful with his baby sister as he was at the Heller's.
