I can remember doing this exact thing when I was about this age. I cringe every time he gets up on the counters, worried that he will fall. But it is the start of him getting his breakfast on his own so that we can sleep in. What's for breakfast ths morning Jackson? Is that oatmeal?

No, I didn't get my own breakfast but I do remember spending a lot of time up on the counters reaching the upper cabinets.
You never did find the box of chocolate covered raisins I kept hidden in the upper corner cabinet. The box fit perfectly behind the face frame of the cabinet.
Is it sad that I still have to stand on the counter to get some things??
