The past few weeks in photos...

I've been slacking lately on adding photos to the blog. Here is a couple to see how the little guy is growing up:

"Turn the volume up Mommy!" This is Jackson's latest trick, and I'm doing all that I can to discourage it!

Painting on construction paper with water is far easier to clean up, especially when he knocks the bowl of "paint" over. (Thanks Darcie for this idea.)

Most Oreos (brand name has to be Oreos and the mini packets don't count) are dairy free.

A week in photos...

It seems I don't have time to write much anymore. With summer winding down, trying to get all of my "to do list" itmes checked off, illness and the start of school my spare time is down to a bare minimum these days. So you will be seeing many more of these kinds of posts, hope you don't mind.

18 month old boy...

It's hard to believe that our baby is already 18mos, but he is (as of the 13th). The time has gone fast, but we are happy about the stage we are in now. Jackson is taking anywhere from a 1.5 - 3 hour nap in the afternoon, he is going to sleep at 8pm and not waking until 6:45 or 8 in the morning. He is talking up a storm, trying to get two words to string together. He is using the potty like a champ, gives kisses and hugs galore and wants to help us all the time.

Daddy got a new pair of shoes...

My Dad now has one of those fancy PDA phones, that costs an arm and a leg (or so Mom says). It's attached to his hip literally... and now he can answer emails, text and phone calls from work, at all times. I'm thrilled, can you tell? Anyway, here are some photos he took with his new little gadget.

Another weekend behind us. Here's what kept us busy.

We built a tunnel in our living room that Jackson and mom played many games of hide and seek in:

Dad spotted this Little Tikes picnic table in someone's yard with a free sign attached. (high-five dad!) I also got new shoes that you can see in this photo (thanks Grandma Leier):

And because our Texas friends were coming into town, and we wanted to be able to drive them to the zoo, we purchased this minivan:
