Addie's Vocab

I hesitate to even write this post as I am sure I will miss gobs of what is already included in her vocabulary.  I am very pleased with her speech and surprised by all she can say so clearly.

She will point to her (and your) eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, ears, tongue, belly, feet, toes, fingers, hair and elbows.

She knows the sounds for frog, duck, cow, dog, cat, bee, snake, lion and we are working hard on wolf.

She's getting around the television characters as well with Pooh, Eeyore, Diego and Cailou being added to the list.

Addie is learning her fruit and vegetables lately, the drawer and cabinet closures in Grandma's kitchen are fruits and vegetables so she's learning them quick.

Clothes:  Shirt, Pants, Hat, Mitten, Shoes, Socks, Button, Zipper.

At Jackson's birthday party she was practicing saying the names of our family members and most of them came out pretty clear, especially Donnie.

Addie often sits down and opens a book (sometimes she gets lucky and it's right-side-up) and begins to "read".  She babbles along as she turns the pages and seems to be very interested in the content of the book.
